Halloween in Mesa, AZ

It was tricky trying to get all four of them to pose for a picture.  Everyone said Adam looked so much like Harry Potter it was scary.  He had fun being in character all night.  Carson found the whole experience a little spooky--and we expect to see him in our bed by midnight or shortly thereafter (he's been dealing with nightmares lately--so Halloween is not his favorite holiday).

How cute are my little puppies!!
Mason reprised his role as Scooby-Doo this year.  I think the costume will fit him for years to come.

Happy Halloween from chilly Cleveland!

Calling for Halloween Photos!

Thanks for posting, Lacy and Lafe!  I was starting to feel a little lonely here!  Anyway, the upcoming holiday is the perfect opportunity for everyone to try a post of their own.  Let's see pictures of your kids in their Halloween costumes.  I hear Lucas Morley is going to be a cowboy and I want to see a photo!  And my Adam is the perfect Harry Potter--check back in a couple of weeks to see for yourselves.  Love you all!!!

Cousin Time in Washington, D.C.

The Haws and Chaffee families met up while Lafe and Lacy were there for some sightseeing. We spent about an hour just chatting. London is beautiful and getting so big! Lacy and Stetson can't wait for their next trip to D.C.

Happy Birthday Paul!

Paul had a birthday this week and I surprised him with a flying lesson from Lacy's father-in-law. It was something he had always wanted to do--in fact, he completed ground school some time ago, but had never had the resources to take his first flight. He had a great time and has decided to re-take ground school (it's been ages) and start logging hours in hopes of obtaining a pilot's license. Soon he and Lafe may be jetting us wherever we need to go!

Congratulations Erin!

For those of you who don't know (that included me until last night!), our dear cousin Erin is expecting a baby! They are currently living in Malasia, so this pregnancy could by quite the adventure! I love to read her blog at http://weistfamily.blogspot.com .

Building a basketball...er...soccer team!

They may not ever be tall enough to be basketball players--but haven't Lisa and Ron got some handsome grandsons? This is a shot we took just before Lacy, Lafe and Stetson moved to Cleveland for dental school. I'm sure the Hatches know where we're coming from--this is one family in desperate need of a baby princess!

Trying this thing for the first time.

Thought I would try this out to make sure I could do it. That way if I had anything important to say I would be ready to do it. Now that I think about it everything I say is important. Anyway, I posted the only picture I have on my work computer. It is Riley in Island Park last winter. Don't you AZ people miss the snow? I think it was about -5 when the picture was taken. Love you all,

The baby brother

First Blog

Welcome the Williams Family Blog!

This is our first attempt at creating a family communication tool. We could not be outmatched by the Snow Family Blog--so here we go. We will need additional expertise and your help in making this work.

Check out the Snow Family Blog (www.thesnowfamily.blogspot.com). You will see some awesome pictures of Elder Snow's experiences through Africa and Europe.
